Irmo police arrested two people and are searching for a 17-year-old who they say failed to stop for blue lights Tuesday night.
Police say around 11:30 p.m. officers attempted to pull over a car on St. Andrews Rd. for falsification of the vehicle registration. Officers say when they ran the vehicle’s plates, the registration for the tag came back to a different make of car.
According to police, a pursuit began at the 7400 block of St. Andrews Road and ended at Harbison State Forest. As a result, 19-year-old Santawn Moultrie who is charged with Failure to Stop on Police Command and 17-year-old Keon Kelly who’s charged with Failure to Stop on Police Command, Unlawful Possession of a Pistol and Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol was arrested.
Police say they are still trying to locate 17-year-old Denzell Labrew, who was the driver of the vehicle. Labrew is being charged with Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Violation of a Beginner's Permit, Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, Possesion of a Stolen Tag, Failure to Stop for Blue Lights and Siren and Failure to Stop on Police Command.
