The rain came pouring down in the Capital City, and we needed it.
After oppressive temperatures near the century mark most of the week, the skies finally opened up and delivered some relief to most of our thirsty lawns.
However, the rain came too fast for some parts of the city. A street in one Harbison neighborhood looked more like a stream. Residents were trying to clear a storm drain.
Another home came close to flooding. The rising waters were coming up to the garage door of the home.
