Leaphart to host first annual “LEAP into Thinking through Engineering”

 

On Wednesday, February 22, Leaphart Elementary will host the first annual “LEAP into Thinking through Engineering” field experience. 

AGP students from six elementary schools will come together to learn about the process engineers and inventors use when problem solving. 

They will spend time with a creative engineer and Leaphart’s Lego Robotics team.

The Richland County Grants Office will host a free grant workshop on Thursday, February 2nd from 2-3pm at 2020 Hampton Street in Council Chambers. The workshop is designed for eligible organizations interested in applying for the Richland County Discretionary Grant. 

 

Discretionary Grants provide financial support to non-profit or charitable organizations within Richland County.  Proposals are due before 5:00pm on Friday, March 2, 2012.
