Mayor Steve Benjamin is proud to announce the selection of the 2013 Spring Semester class of Mayor's Fellows.

Upon taking office, Mayor Benjamin launched the internship program that has welcomed over 40 students to date. It is open to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students and provides an opportunity to actively participate in the municipal government process.

Lieutenant Governor Glenn McConnell has been awarded the “Helping Hands Hug Award” for his efforts to promote the public education of adult day care, a component of his push toward exploring additional care options available for our state's aging and vulnerable adult populations.

On Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., Lieutenant Governor McConnell will be presented with this award at Helping Hands, located at 2010 State Street in Cayce, SC.
