And I can definitely say that about the social workers and staff I work with at District Five. There’s really none better.”

Mayor Steve Benjamin is proud to announce the selection of the 2013 Spring Semester class of Mayor's Fellows.

 

Upon taking office, Mayor Benjamin launched the internship program that has welcomed over 40 students to date. It is open to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students and provides an opportunity to actively participate in the municipal government process.

Capitol Senior Center renaming celebration set for April 18

Come out and join community members in celebrating the legacy of the late Senator Isadore Lourie as the Capital Senior Center is renamed "The Lourie Center".

The Capital Senior Center Renaming Celebration will take place on April 18th from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. The celebration will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and live entertainment. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available.
