Apartment complex damaged by Sunday morning fire | News

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS)- Fire investigators have not yet determined the cause of a fire that damaged several apartments at a complex in Columbia Sunday morning.
Irmo Firefighters were called to the Country Walk Apartments on Foxfire Drive just after 9 a.m.
It took firefighters from Irmo, Columbia, and Lexington County about 45 minutes to bring the flames under control. Nobody was injured.
The fire department says six apartments were damaged by the flames and several residents were displaced by the damage. The American Red Cross is helping the families who lost their homes.
Damage is estimated at $250,000. A cause of the fire has not been determined.
