IRMO, SC (WIS)- RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - A disturbance call at a residence on Devonport Drive led Richland County deputies to uncover drugs and a growing operation at the home.

Deputies say they responded to the call just after 5:00 p.m. and discovered an altercation that was in reference to drugs.

Upon obtaining a consent to search the home, deputies found hallucinogenic mushrooms and immediately called the narcotics unit.

After narcotics officers arrived and a second search was performed, deputies discovered more mushrooms found growing in various states inside and around the home.

Deputies arrested James Bryant Rea in connection with the operation. He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of manufacturing with intent to distribute.

Rea was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center and given a $15,000 bond.
