November 1: Parent- Teacher Conferences
November 1 is a big day for district students: they get their first report cards of the year and all of them will have early dismissal so that their teachers can prepare for the arrival of their parents at the parent-teacher conferences, which will be held in the afternoon and evening.
November 2: Logan Elementary Fall Carnival
- Activities include a bounce house, bean bag toss, book fair and much more. The fun begins at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
November 8: Honor Roll Assemblies
- Caughman Road Elementary School at 8:30 a.m.
- Gadsden Elementary School at 9:30 a.m.

- Watkins-Nance Elementary School will host a Books and Breakfast event for parents at 8:30 a.m.
November 8: Southeast Middle School’s ‘Spooktacular’
‘Spooktacular’will thrill audiences with three different performances in one night. The sixth-grade class will present {POEms}, a collection of some of Edgar Allan Poe’s scariest works. The pieces, The Spirits of the Dead, The Valley of Unrest and The Haunted Palace, will be performed in the style of a Greek chorus. Eighth-graders will perform a murder mystery with over-the-top characters, action and a surprise ending you won’t see coming. The seventh-grade class wrote their own script as part of a class project on stock characters and the parts of a play. Tickets are $1 for students and $3 for adults.
November 9
Bradley Elementary School’s honor roll parade begins at 8:00 a.m.
