Free Health Fair at Dutch Fork Elementary | Events

Dutch Fork Elementary is sponsoring a free Health Fair on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school.

The mission of the Health Fair is to bring attention to childhood obesity and ways to fight it. A nutritionist will be on hand to provide healthy eating tips. Nursing students from the University of South Carolina will offer free blood pressure and height/weight checks. Lexington Medical Center will provide information on ways to battle childhood obesity and a Jazzersize demonstration will take place.

In addition, many local grocery stores will be on-hand to provide healthy snacks, Chick-Fil-A Ballentine will be present and Cocky and athletes from the University of South Carolina will be present from 11am-12pm.
