The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a local store.

According to an incident report, on Oct. 13 officers responded to Circle K located on Bush River Road in reference to an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, deputies met the victim who advised officers two black males wearing masks and armed with handguns robbed the store for less than $100, the report stated.

The report said the victim was outside the store on a cigarette break when one of the suspects jumped out from behind the side of the store with a gun.

Deputies say the suspect pointed the gun at the clerk and told him to go inside.

The report said the victim opened the register, while a second suspect went behind the counter and grabbed the money.

Deputies say the suspect took less than $100 from the register.

According to sheriff’s deputies, the suspects then demanded the victim to open the safe, but the clerk did not have access to it.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim says the first suspect with the gun was wearing Elmo pajama pants and no shirt with a gray mask covering his face. Suspect number was wearing a real tree hoodie with a white cloth covering his face.
